Adding and removing tags and using them in Segments are among the most common questions about Lumo. When you decide who a broadcast should reach, just tell the agent your goal — for example, "I want to send to friends with this tag" — and the agent builds the Segment and prepares the broadcast for you. The steps to follow if you prefer to set things up yourself are also covered below.
What is the difference between tags and Segments?
They play different roles, so you need to use them appropriately when deciding who a broadcast should reach.

You can also add and remove tags from the Chat screen, and they are treated as the same tags no matter which screen you use.
Can I change the account that owns a tag?
No, the account that owns a tag (the LINE Official Account) cannot be changed after the tag is created. The tag editing screen also shows that the owning account cannot be changed.
If you want to move a tag to a different LINE Official Account, create a new tag with the same name on the target account, add the new tag to your friends, and then delete the original tag.
What happens to the tags on friends when I delete a tag?
When you delete a tag, it is automatically removed from every friend who had that tag.
Deletion cannot be undone, so before you delete a tag, make sure you really no longer need it. The tag editing screen shows a list of the Segments and Workflows that use that tag. If the tag is used anywhere, review those settings as well before deleting it.
Can I use a tag as a Segment condition?
Yes, you can use a Friend Tag as a Segment condition.
Letting the agent handle it
When you tell the agent "I want to broadcast to friends who have this tag," the agent assembles the Segment conditions and prepares the broadcast. Once you have reviewed the content, select "Approve" to apply it.
Setting it up yourself
On the Segment creation or editing screen, choose Tag as the property. For the condition, select Includes any or Includes none, then specify the target tags to narrow down to the friends who have that tag or the friends who do not.
Can I add multiple tags to a single friend?
Yes, you can add multiple tags to a single friend.
You add Friend Tags from the friend's profile information panel in Chat. You can add tags by selecting them one at a time, and tags that are already applied do not appear among the selectable options, so you will never add the same tag twice.
Is there a limit on how many tags I can create?
You can create tags freely for each LINE Official Account, and there is no difference in the number you can create based on your plan.
