On the workspace settings screen, you can manage basic information such as the workspace name, icon, and time zone, along with the AI agent, Chat display, tracking, and API keys all in one place. Most settings are designed so you can leave the work to the agent and adjust manually only when needed.
What Is a Workspace
A workspace is the working space where you run marketing with Lumo. Your connected LINE Official Account, Friends, Message Broadcasts, Members, and more are all managed per workspace, and the AI agent acts based on the information in this workspace.
If you want to run multiple businesses or brands separately, manage them in separate workspaces. The identifier for a workspace is its Lumo ID.
Opening the Workspace Settings Screen
You change a workspace's basic information and various settings together from the settings screen.
- Open Settings from the navigation menu.
- Select Workspace Settings.
When you change a setting, press Save at the bottom of the screen to confirm it. If you try to move to another screen without saving, you will see a confirmation that there are unsaved changes.
Basic Information
Under basic information, you can review and change the workspace's display name, icon, Lumo ID, and time zone.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Workspace name | The display name of the workspace. Set a name that makes the business or brand clear. |
| Workspace icon | An icon image used to identify the workspace. You can set, change, or delete it. |
| Lumo ID | The unique identifier of the workspace. You can copy it to the clipboard with Copy ID. |
| Time zone | The time zone used as the basis for broadcast schedules and the date and time display in Reports. |
You can choose the time zone from Tokyo (UTC+09:00), Beijing (UTC+08:00), or Jakarta (UTC+07:00). Scheduled broadcasts and the aggregated dates and times in Reports are displayed based on the time zone you select here.
AI Agent Settings
Under AI agent settings, you enable or disable the AI agent used across the entire workspace, and you configure the business information the agent references as it advances your marketing along with the tools it can use. The settings you configure here apply commonly to all Members in the workspace.
Enabling and Business Information
When you enable the AI agent, the Marketing Agent can support planning, broadcast preparation, and analysis.
In Business information, enter your company URL and a description of who your business serves and what it offers. By giving the agent these business basics, it can propose Goals and broadcast drafts more accurately.
Available Tools and Models
You can configure the tools the AI agent can use for the entire workspace in one place. The available tools include referencing the Lumo Knowledge Base, web search, database access, image generation, and external service integration (HubSpot and Shopify).
You can also choose the LLM model used across the entire workspace. Choose it with a balance between cost and response quality in mind.
The tone and role settings for each individual Member are configured from the AI agent settings under Personal Settings. It helps to remember that workspace settings manage the shared basics for the whole workspace, while personal settings manage each person's preferences.
Chat Settings
Under Chat settings, you can select the contact properties (customer information items) shown on the chat screen and their display order.
By placing the items you check often at the top, you can quickly review the information you need during chat support. Contact properties are displayed exactly in the order you select.
Tracking
When you set up tracking, you can measure which pages LINE friends view on your own site, and you can use that behavior to inform Segments and broadcast decisions.
Installing the Tracking Code
Copy the tracking code and paste it on each page of the site you want to measure. Copy the code shown on the screen and place it immediately before the </body> tag on each page.
Target Sites and Custom Domains
If you want to measure only on specific sites, you can specify the URLs of the target sites. To target multiple sites, enter the URLs separated by commas.
If you want to use your own domain for tracking, you can set a custom domain. It is used in the new tracking URL generated after you configure it.
If you are integrated with a Shopify store, do not install the tracking code manually; use the integration feature on the Shopify side instead. For setup steps, see the Shopify integration article.
API Keys
An API key is a key that allows external services and programs to access Lumo's data. You can manage issuing, copying, and regenerating keys from the settings screen.
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Issue API key | Issues a new API key. The issued key is shown only once, so save it in a safe place right away. |
| Regenerate | Disables the current key and issues a new one. Once you regenerate, the previous key stops working immediately. |
| Copy | Copies the API key to the clipboard. |
If an API key becomes known to a third party, it may be used improperly. Store it in a safe place and do not share it. If you suspect it may have leaked, regenerate it right away.
Deleting a Workspace
Deleting a workspace is an action that completely erases the workspace and all related data. It cannot be undone, so proceed carefully.
When you delete a workspace, all of the following data is deleted.
- All LINE settings and message history
- All customer data and Segments
- All Members and chat history
To carry out the deletion, you are asked to enter the Lumo ID for confirmation. You can delete it once you enter the displayed Lumo ID correctly.
When Things Do Not Work
Here are common stumbling points with workspace settings and how to handle them.
| Symptom | What to do |
|---|---|
| You cannot change or save settings | Check whether you have admin permissions for the workspace. Members without permission cannot change some settings. |
| You cannot upload an icon | Check whether the image file size is 30MB or less. If the size is too large, it cannot be uploaded. |
| You no longer know your API key | An API key is shown only once when it is issued. If you did not record it, regenerate it. Once you regenerate, the previous key stops working. |
| Tracking is not being measured | Check whether the code is correctly installed on each page and whether the target site specification matches the URLs you want to measure. |
