The Friends list is a Lumo feature that lets you view and manage the friends of your LINE Official Account in a single screen. From checking profiles to bulk tag operations and reviewing integration status with external services, it covers it all.
What is the Friends list?
The Friends list is a screen where you view and manage the friends of the LINE Official Account synced to Lumo, all in one place. You can see each friend's profile, follow status, assigned tags, and integration status with external services at a glance.
When you tell the Marketing Agent your Goal, the agent proposes which friends should receive what. The Friends list is useful when you want to see for yourself the customer profile behind those proposals, or when you want to review a specific friend individually.
What you need to use the Friends list
To open the Friends list, you need the following two things.
- You are logged in to Lumo
- A LINE Official Account is connected
Right after connecting, syncing friend information may take some time. If only a few friends are shown, wait a while and then open the screen again.
Opening the Friends list
In the side menu, select the target LINE Official Account and click "Friends" to display the Friends list.
If you have connected multiple LINE Official Accounts, the Friends list is displayed separately for each account.
What you can do in the Friends list
In the Friends list, you can't only review friends but also filter them and perform bulk tag operations.
- Check a friend's name and profile
- Filter friends by free-word search or status
- Add tags to friends in bulk, or remove them in bulk
- Check integration status with Shopify, HubSpot, and Klaviyo
- Open a Chat directly from a friend's detail screen
- Check a friend's activity (timeline)
Information shown in the Friends list
The Friends list table shows the following information for each friend.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The friend's name and profile image. If a first and last name are entered under "About this customer", that name is shown instead of the LINE display name. Click it to move to the detail screen |
| Status | Either "Following" or "Blocked" |
| Tags | The tags assigned to that friend. Used for filtering broadcast recipients and more |
| ID Linking | Shows the integration status with Shopify, HubSpot, and Klaviyo as icons. Click "Show Sync Info" to view the details |
| Created | The date the friend was added to Lumo |
Click the column headers for Name, Status, or Created to sort by that item.
Search and filters
In the Friends list, you can filter friends in two ways: by free word and by status.
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Free-word search | Searches by the friend's display name |
| Status filter | Filters by "All", "Following", or "Blocked" |
If you can't find a specific friend, check whether the search conditions and status filter are set as you intend. When a filter is active, friends that don't match the conditions are not shown in the list.
Bulk Tag operations
You can select multiple friends and add or remove tags for them all at once.
When you select target friends in the Friends list, a bulk operation menu appears.
- "Add tags": Adds a common tag to the selected friends in bulk
- "Remove all tags": Removes all tags from the selected friends
What you handle here is the "tag" applied to friends. It is a different concept from Segments, which filter broadcast recipients by conditions. Tags can also be added and removed from the Chat screen.
Checking sync info
Click "Show Sync Info" to open a panel on the right side of the screen, where you can check that friend's sync information.
In addition to the LINE information, the panel shows the information of the integrated external services, broken down by service. For Shopify, HubSpot, and Klaviyo, the information of any service that is not integrated is not shown.
The friend detail screen
Click a friend's name to open the detail screen. Information cards stack on the left, and the activity shows on the right. You can reorder the cards by dragging and collapse them.
Profile card
The profile card at the top left shows the friend's basic information.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Badge | The "Following" or "Blocked" status |
| Profile image | The LINE profile image. Click it to enlarge |
| Name | The friend's name. If a first and last name are entered under "About this customer", that name is shown instead |
| "Chat" button | Opens the conversation with that friend directly in Chat |
| "…" menu | Runs "Delete friend". "Permanently delete personal data" is shown only to admins, and only after it is turned on under Privacy in the workspace settings |
About this customer
The "About this customer" card is where you edit the friend's basic information stored in Lumo.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Last name / First name | The friend's name. Once entered, it takes priority over the LINE display name in the friends list, friend details, and the inbox |
| The email address. You can edit it | |
| Phone | The phone number. You can edit it |
| Display name | The LINE display name. View only — it follows the friend's LINE profile |
| Rich Menu | The Rich Menu currently applied to that friend (view only) |
When you edit, a bar appears at the bottom of the screen — click "Save" to confirm. The clock icon "View change history" on each item shows the history of changes.
Fields
The "Fields" card is where you check and edit the friend's field values. After editing, save from the bar at the bottom of the screen. "Display settings" at the top right of the card changes which fields show for this friend.
Tags
The profile shows the tags assigned to that friend. You can add and remove tags from here, and move to managing the tags themselves from the "Tag Settings".
These tags are the ones applied to friends, and they are a separate concept from Segments.
LINE Information
The "LINE Information" card shows the information about syncing with the LINE Official Account.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Display Name | The LINE display name |
| Status message | The LINE status message |
| LINE User ID | The user ID on LINE (you can copy it) |
| Follow Status | Following or Blocked |
| Friend Added Date | The date and time the friend was added |
| Source | Shows the "First Source" (the first acquisition route) and the "Last Source" (the most recent one). The acquisition entry point is recorded, such as a tracking QR code or the website friend-add CTA. For friends who joined through the website friend-add CTA, the source also shows the CTA placement name. The URL of the page the friend add started on is visible in the report Acquisition Funnel and in the synced Klaviyo and HubSpot properties |
External service sync info
If you have integrated with Shopify, HubSpot, or Klaviyo, the sync information for each is shown. The sync status is indicated by icons, and from the "Show in Shopify", "Show in HubSpot", and "Show in Klaviyo" buttons you can open the external service's screen directly.
| Service | Example items shown |
|---|---|
| Shopify | Customer ID, email address, and more |
| HubSpot | Contact ID, full name, and more |
| Klaviyo | Profile ID, and more |
Activity
In the main content, you can check that friend's activity timeline. Events related to the friend line up in chronological order, such as following, blocking, receiving messages, scanning a QR Code, viewing a product, identity linking, and receiving or redeeming a coupon. You can also narrow the list down by event type.
Common usage patterns
The Friends list can be used for both understanding customers and reviewing your initiatives.
- Understanding customers: Grasp each individual's behavior from the friend's detail and activity timeline
- Re-engaging dormant friends: Use the status filter to check blocked friends and consider how to approach them
- Source analysis: Check which path each friend was added through, and measure the effectiveness of your acquisition efforts
- Cross-referencing with external services: Check the sync information from Shopify, HubSpot, and Klaviyo, and match it against your customer data
You can take this kind of analysis and your next moves straight to the Marketing Agent. Tell it about a trend you noticed, and the agent will propose initiative ideas and, once you approve, carry them through to execution.
When things don't work
If you can't find friends or sync information, first check the following points.
- Friends are not shown: Review the search conditions and status filter settings. When a filter is active, friends that don't match the conditions are not shown
- Sync information is not shown: Check whether the integration with Shopify, HubSpot, or Klaviyo has been completed. The information of any service that is not integrated is not shown
- Too few friends: Check whether the LINE Official Account connection has completed properly. Right after connecting, syncing friend information may take some time
