Here are 10 report angles you'll use often. Every one of them starts from an item in the report library that opens from "Create Report" (the only exception is example 6 on an account with web tracking only, which you build with "Start from blank"). The settings for building each one yourself (dataset, dimensions, metrics, period, chart type) are listed too, so adjust them as needed. If you're unsure how to read the numbers, use "Analyze with AI" on a saved report to ask Marketing Agent.
Example 1: Are friends growing?
Check whether net growth holds week by week, and in which weeks blocks rose.
| Item | Setting |
|---|---|
| Dataset | Friends |
| Dimension | Weekly |
| Metrics | Net Growth, Blocks |
| Display period | Last 90 Days |
| Chart type | Line Chart |
To build it, pick "Blocks and net growth by week" from the report library, set the display period to Last 90 Days, and press "Save Report". The same report is included in the standard dashboard "LINE Performance".
When reading it, look for weeks where the net growth line dips while blocks peak. Where they overlap, revisit what you sent that week. New Friends can't be selected together with other metrics; to see where new friends come from, use example 2.
Compared with LINE Official Account Manager, you can follow several LINE Official Accounts as one line and keep it on a dashboard for regular monitoring.
Example 2: Which sources are adding friends?
Stack new friends by friend source, month by month, for a full year.
| Item | Setting |
|---|---|
| Dataset | Friends |
| Dimensions | Monthly, Friend Source |
| Metric | New Friends |
| Display period | Last 365 Days |
| Chart type | Bar Chart |
To build it, pick "New friends by source" from the report library, set the dimensions to Monthly and Friend Source and the display period to Last 365 Days, and press "Save Report". To see individual QR codes, swap the Friend Source dimension for "Tracking QR Code".
When reading it, separate sources that keep growing across months from sources that only spike in the month of a campaign. Adds through LINE's standard QR code, search, and add-friend button are grouped as the LINE standard route. A per-QR-code breakdown is available only for tracking QR codes issued in Lumo. Friends imported during migration show up as import/migration.
Compared with LINE Official Account Manager, the breakdown goes down to the tracking QR codes you issued, website friend-add CTAs, Klaviyo forms, and Shopify customer accounts.
Example 3: Are messages delivered and clicked?
Overlay monthly deliveries with the unique open rate and unique click rate for a full year.
| Item | Setting |
|---|---|
| Dataset | Messaging |
| Dimension | Monthly |
| Metrics | Deliveries, Unique Open Rate, Unique Click Rate |
| Display period | Last 365 Days |
| Chart type | Combo Chart |
To build it, pick "Deliveries, open and click rates by month" from the report library, set the display period to Last 365 Days, and press "Save Report". In a Combo Chart, deliveries are drawn as bars and the rates as lines automatically.
When reading it, check whether the rates fell in the months you sent more. A month with more deliveries and lower rates suggests the frequency or the content isn't landing. Rates are aggregated by the month a message was sent, so clicks that happen the following month count toward the sending month.
Compared with LINE Official Account Manager, you get a monthly trend that covers auto-send messages and workflow deliveries, not only broadcasts.
Example 4: Which broadcasts performed best?
Line up the last 90 days of broadcasts with reach, unique open rate, and unique click rate in a table.
| Item | Setting |
|---|---|
| Dataset | Messaging |
| Dimension | Broadcast |
| Metrics | Reach, Unique Open Rate, Unique Click Rate |
| Display period | Last 90 Days |
| Chart type | Table |
To build it, pick "Open and click rates by broadcast" from the report library, add "Reach" to the metrics, and press "Save Report". The same report is included in the standard dashboard "LINE Performance".
When reading it, keep broadcasts with a large reach and broadcasts with high rates apart. Small-audience broadcasts tend to show high rates, so judge reach and rates side by side. Click a number in the table to see the friends who opened or clicked.
Compared with LINE Official Account Manager, you can compare many broadcasts in one table and sort them by rate.
Example 5: Which rich menu buttons get tapped?
Line up unique clicks and click rate for each rich menu and each button (action).
| Item | Setting |
|---|---|
| Dataset | Rich menu |
| Dimensions | Rich Menu, Action |
| Metrics | Unique Clicks, Click Rate |
| Display period | Last 30 Days |
| Chart type | Horizontal Bar Chart |
To build it, pick "Clicks by rich menu button" from the report library and press "Save Report".
When reading it, look for buttons that are hardly tapped. Click Rate is unique clicks divided by the number of friends the menu is assigned to. Link buttons are counted exactly; text, menu-switch, and postback buttons are estimates, so treat those as a guide.
Compared with LINE Official Account Manager, rich menus created in Lumo are counted button by button, with daily and weekly trends and CSV export.
Example 6: Is LINE driving conversions?
Line up monthly conversions for a full year. With the Shopify integration, overlay LINE-attributed revenue and the LINE revenue contribution rate.
| Item | Setting |
|---|---|
| Dataset | Conversions |
| Target account | Choose one LINE Official Account |
| Dimension | Monthly |
| Metrics | Conversions (with the Shopify integration, also add LINE-Attributed Revenue and LINE Revenue Contribution Rate) |
| Display period | Last 365 Days |
| Chart type | Bar Chart |
To build it on a Shopify-connected account, pick "Revenue and LINE-attributed revenue by month" from the report library and match the metrics and period to the settings above. On an account with web tracking only, choose "Start from blank", select the Conversions dataset, enter the settings above, and press "Save Report".
When reading it, check whether the months with more deliveries line up with the months with more conversions. LINE attribution is an estimate: an outcome counts as coming through LINE when a LINE link was clicked within the 5 days before it. Recording outcomes requires the Shopify integration or web conversion tracking.
Compared with LINE Official Account Manager, you can follow revenue and conversions as LINE outcomes.
Example 7: Which broadcasts got the most opens and clicks?
Sort broadcasts by unique open rate and unique click rate to find what the best-performing ones have in common.
| Item | Setting |
|---|---|
| Dataset | Messaging |
| Dimension | Broadcast |
| Metrics | Unique Open Rate, Unique Click Rate, Deliveries |
| Display period | Last 90 Days |
| Chart type | Table |
To build it, pick "Open and click rates by broadcast" from the report library and press "Save Report".
When reading it, click the table header to sort by unique click rate and look for the send times and content the top broadcasts share. Broadcasts with very few deliveries swing easily, so check deliveries too. To compare with the previous period, put Monthly first among the dimensions and choose "Previous period" under "Comparison" (comparison works when the first dimension is a date).
Compared with LINE Official Account Manager, you get a ranking across broadcasts in one table that you can sort by rate.
Example 8: Which links in your messages were tapped?
Line up the number of people who clicked and the total clicks for each link in your messages.
| Item | Setting |
|---|---|
| Dataset | Messaging |
| Dimension | Link |
| Metrics | Unique Link Clicks, Link Clicks |
| Display period | Last 30 Days |
| Chart type | Table |
To build it, pick "Clicks by link" from the report library and press "Save Report".
When reading it, see which link drew the response when one message carried several. Links are grouped by domain and path, so they don't split over differing parameters. Click a number to open the details and see the individual URLs. Links in broadcasts that had tracking URL conversion turned off aren't counted.
Compared with LINE Official Account Manager, you can compare clicks link by link across several broadcasts in one table.
Example 9: Which workflows or flows are performing?
Line up Lumo workflows, Klaviyo Flows, auto-send messages, and HubSpot workflows by the same yardstick.
| Item | Setting |
|---|---|
| Dataset | Messaging |
| Dimension | Workflows |
| Metrics | Unique Open Rate, Unique Click Rate |
| Display period | Last 30 Days |
| Chart type | Table |
To build it, pick "Open and click rates by workflow" from the report library and press "Save Report".
When reading it, look for automated sends whose rates have stayed low unnoticed. The "Workflows" dimension is a combined axis spanning Lumo workflows, Klaviyo Flows, auto-send messages, and HubSpot workflows. To see Lumo workflows only, switch the dimension to "Lumo workflows".
Compared with LINE Official Account Manager, you can compare the results of automated sends across workflow types.
Example 10: Which sources bring friends who keep buying?
Compare purchasers, cumulative revenue, and average LTV of the friends acquired from each friend source.
| Item | Setting |
|---|---|
| Dataset | Acquisition cohort |
| Target account | Choose one LINE Official Account |
| Dimension | Friend Source |
| Metrics | Cohort Size, Purchasers, Cumulative Revenue, Average LTV |
| Display period | Last 90 Days |
| Filter | LTV window (all, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days) |
| Chart type | Bar Chart |
To build it, pick "LTV by acquisition source" from the report library and press "Save Report".
When reading it, keep sources with a large cohort and sources with a high average LTV apart. The average LTV of a small source moves a lot with a handful of purchases. To compare sources on equal terms, set the LTV window filter to the same 30 or 90 days. Cumulative revenue includes only orders placed after the acquisition date.
Compared with LINE Official Account Manager, you can tie the source a friend came from to the revenue that followed.
Building an angle that isn't in the examples
For an angle that isn't listed, tell Marketing Agent the question as it is, or build it with "Start from blank".
Tell the agent the number you want and how to split it, such as "click rate by delivery type, monthly" or "friend adds by QR code, quarterly". You can also type a one-line question into "Create with AI" in the report library. When building it yourself, decide the dataset first, choose the dimensions and metrics, then set the display period and chart type. The Quarterly and Yearly dimensions and the This month, Last month, This quarter, and This year periods make calendar-based reviews easier.
