Common questions about setting, changing, and achieving Goals are answered below. In most cases, you just tell the Marketing Agent what you want to do, and it handles the rest.
Can I change my Goal?
You can change your Goal at any time. When you tell the Marketing Agent that you want to change your Goal, it analyzes your current situation, proposes a new Goal, and rebuilds your campaign plan to match it.
Letting the agent handle it
Start a conversation from Change Goal under Goal Progress on the Dashboard, and the agent will quickly present a Goal proposal based on its analysis of your current situation. Review the proposal, and once you are satisfied, simply choose "Approve" to make the switch.
Setting it yourself
You can edit your current Goal directly on the Goal tab in the Agent Control Center. Change the metric, target value, or deadline, then press Save to apply your changes.
Can I use Lumo without setting a Goal?
You can use the Marketing Agent without setting a Goal. You can still get help with your everyday tasks as usual, such as creating broadcasts, designing Segments, and handling chats.
That said, when you set a Goal, the agent automatically supports the work needed to reach it.
| Actions enabled when you set a Goal | Details |
|---|---|
| Automatic campaign planning | The agent proposes initiatives as a plan to help you reach your Goal |
| Weekly and monthly reports | The agent periodically summarizes your progress and results and notifies you |
| Pace-behind alerts | When you fall behind the pace needed for your Goal, the agent notices and lets you know |
Starting by simply telling the agent your Goal makes its proposals far more relevant.
How many Goals can I set?
By design, only one Goal is active at a time so the agent can stay focused. When you set a single, most important Goal, every proposal the agent makes works toward it.
Goals you have achieved or discarded remain as history and are kept separate from your active Goal. When you want to switch to a different metric, just change your Goal and the new one becomes active.
What metrics can I set as a Goal?
You can set the major metrics of LINE marketing as a Goal, from acquiring friends to broadcast performance. If you are unsure which metric suits your current Workspace, ask the agent and it will suggest a metric that fits your situation along with a recommended target value.
| Category | Examples of key metrics |
|---|---|
| Friend acquisition | Number of friends |
| Engagement | Average open rate, average click rate |
| Active rate | 30-day active rate |
| Block rate | Block rate |
| Broadcast performance | Metrics related to broadcast performance |
| Broadcast frequency | Number of broadcasts over a period |
| Segment usage | Ratio of Segment broadcasts |
A Goal you set is managed as a metric, target value, current value, deadline, and status.
What happens when I achieve a Goal?
When you achieve a Goal, the agent notifies you and proposes a next Goal. Based on your results so far and your current situation, it may propose a more ambitious Goal or one that grows a different metric.
The status of an achieved Goal changes to Achieved and it remains as history. Review the proposed next Goals, choose the one you want to pursue, and the new Goal becomes active.
How long a timeframe should I set for a Goal?
Setting a deadline is not required. Even without one, the agent automatically estimates when you will reach your Goal based on your current pace.
You can also specify a deadline, such as "within three months" or "by the end of this month." When there is a deadline, the agent works backward to determine the pace you need and adjusts its initiatives accordingly. If your progress falls behind expectations, it notifies you that you are behind the pace needed for your Goal.
How do I withdraw a Goal?
You can discard a Goal you no longer need. Tell the Marketing Agent that you want to drop your current Goal, or discard it on the Goal tab in the Agent Control Center.
The status of a discarded Goal changes to Discarded and it remains as history. After discarding, you can set a new Goal or continue using Lumo without a Goal.
