Common questions about the Dashboard and how to handle them are answered below.
Is the Dashboard data shown in real time?
Much of the Dashboard data takes time to compile, so it may not reflect the very latest values at the moment you open the screen.
Each statistic shows the time it was compiled, letting you check the figures up to that point. If you always want the most current state, reload the page to fetch the data again.
Can I change the time range shown on the Dashboard?
With the "Period" filter at the top of the screen, you can switch the aggregation period for the whole Dashboard at once.
You can choose from "Today", "This week", "This month", "This quarter", "This year", "Last 7 days", "Last 30 days", and "Last 90 days". The filter applies to the supported widgets (reports, outcomes, friends trend, and LINE statistics), and the setting is reflected only for you. When a period is selected, the LINE Statistics tiles show the friends added, blocks, and broadcast counts within that period instead of day-over-day changes. The large numbers on the Friends and Blocks tiles always show the current totals, regardless of the selected period.
In addition, the "LINE Friends Trend" graph lets you separately choose a display unit of "Daily", "Weekly", or "Monthly".
| Display unit | Use |
|---|---|
| Daily | Track recent, fine-grained ups and downs |
| Weekly | Check medium-term trends |
| Monthly | Get an overview of long-term growth |
What should I do when the number of friends drops suddenly?
If the number of friends drops suddenly, your customers may have blocked your LINE Official Account.
Blocked friends are no longer counted in the number of friends. You can check "Blocks" in the "LINE Statistics" on the Dashboard. Clicking the blocks number also shows a list of the friends involved. When the number of blocks is rising, we recommend reviewing your broadcast frequency and content.
Points to review for reducing blocks
- Broadcast frequency: Check whether you are sending too many broadcasts in a short period
- Broadcast content: Reconsider whether the content is useful for your customers
- Recipients: Check whether you are delivering to a Segment that matches the content
You can optimize your broadcast content and frequency by consulting with the Marketing Agent. When you share a goal such as "I want to reduce blocks," it analyzes the current situation and proposes improvements. You can proceed with a proposal by choosing "Execute" or "Not now".
Can I change the widgets shown on the Dashboard?
You can freely change which widgets appear, along with their arrangement and size, in edit mode.
Click "Edit" in the top right of the Dashboard to enter edit mode. Add widgets from "Add widget", drag them to rearrange, and drag their corners to resize. Remove widgets you don't need with the delete button. When you're finished, click "Done".
You can add up to 30 widgets to a single dashboard. The "Edit" button is available in the desktop layout, and depending on your plan, dashboard customization may not be available.
Can I create more than one dashboard?
You can create up to 10 dashboards per workspace.
Click the dashboard name at the top of the screen and create one from "New dashboard". It's handy to use them for different purposes, such as one summarizing management metrics and one for checking broadcast operations. If you "Set as default" a dashboard you use often, it appears first when you open the Dashboard.
Are dashboard edits reflected for other members too?
The dashboard and widget configuration is shared among the members of a workspace.
Adding or removing widgets and changing their arrangement is reflected on the screens of other members in the same workspace. On the other hand, the "Period" filter setting at the top of the screen is reflected only for you and does not affect what other members see.
Can I check the basis for a number (the list of items covered)?
Click a number or graph on a widget to see the details that make up that figure.
From Friends and Blocks in LINE Statistics you can see a list of the friends covered; from Messages sent, Opens, and Clicks you can see the broadcast events covered; and from the outcome widgets you can see the orders behind each conversion and more. In "LINE Friends Trend", click a bar in the graph to see the list of friends added in that period. In "Heart Connection Moments", click the total to see the detected messages and open the conversation in the Inbox. For the outcome widgets' summary tables and report details, you can download the data from "Export CSV".
Can I see which friends were added on a specific day?
Yes — click the bar for that day in the "LINE Friends Trend" widget.
A list of the friends added on the clicked day (or in that week or month, depending on the display unit) appears, and clicking a name takes you to the friend's detail page. Note that for workspaces migrated from another tool, periods before the migration have no friend-addition records in Lumo, so those friends do not appear in the list.
I can't add a report widget
The report feature is available on the Business plan or higher, so on some plans you cannot add a report widget.
You can check your current plan under "Settings" > "Usage & Billing". After you upgrade your plan, you can pin saved reports to the Dashboard to display them.
What should I do when no data is displayed?
When no data is displayed, check which account is selected and the timing of data compilation.
| Symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| No data is displayed | Check that the LINE Official Account you want to view is selected at the top of the screen |
| Figures are not updated | Reload the page to fetch the latest information |
| The chart is not displayed | Compilation can take time, so wait a while and check again |
