Approval is the mechanism that lets you decide whether the operations the agent has prepared should actually go ahead. You simply set your goals and approve, while the agent handles the planning, preparation, broadcasting, and analysis.
What exactly is approval?
Approval is the mechanism that gives you the final say on whether to run an operation the agent has prepared. An approval prompt appears in the Marketing Agent chat, where you choose either "Approve" or "Cancel".
The agent takes care of work such as preparing broadcasts, writing copy, and designing segments. All you need to do is review the content and decide whether it should go ahead.
What happens to an operation if I don't approve it?
An operation that isn't approved is not carried out. The agent never sends a message or runs a workflow without your confirmation.
If you choose "Cancel" on the prompt, that operation is dropped. When you're unsure, you can ask the agent for its reasoning or have it suggest an alternative.
What happens if I leave an operation pending approval?
A broadcast that stays pending approval past a certain time is automatically passed over instead of being sent. A broadcast you haven't reviewed is never sent on its own. If you want to keep it on schedule, approve it early.
Can I make every operation automatic?
It depends on the type of operation. High-risk operations are designed to require approval regardless of your Trust Score.
Operations such as creating drafts and creating or editing segments become eligible to run automatically without approval as your Trust Score rises. You can check the current handling of each operation under "AI agent trust" on the Dashboard.
Trust levels
| Level | What the agent does |
|---|---|
| Approval required | Always asks for your approval before running |
| Notify only | Runs the operation and tells you the result |
| Automatic | Runs automatically with no approval or notification |
Can I undo an approval?
Even after you've approved a broadcast, you can call it off as long as it's before the scheduled send time. A scheduled broadcast can be returned to a draft, then rebuilt and rescheduled if needed.
How to cancel
- Open the broadcast you want from the Message Broadcast list.
- Select "Cancel scheduled broadcast".
- Click "Cancel" on the confirmation screen.
The broadcast returns to a draft. A broadcast whose scheduled send time has passed, or one that has already been sent, cannot be called off.
What should I do if I want the content changed?
Just tell the Marketing Agent in the chat what you'd like changed. Say it in natural language, such as "make it a bit more casual" or "move the send time to the afternoon," and the agent will revise the content and present a new version.
There's no need to rush your approval. You can ask for adjustments as many times as it takes to get content you're happy with.
Where do approval prompts arrive?
They arrive in the Marketing Agent chat screen. Once the agent finishes preparing, an approval prompt appears in the chat.
You can also check messages from the agent and the status of pending approvals under "Your notifications" on the Dashboard.
Can I see a history of approvals?
You can review your past approvals and cancellations on the "Approval" tab in the agent control center.
For each operation, you can see at a glance whether you approved or cancelled it, when you made the decision, and whether it finished running. This is helpful for looking back on what the agent has done.
When there are multiple members, who approves?
The person tied to the agent that prepared the operation is the one who approves it. A broadcast prepared for a particular member asks that member for approval.
